I'd like to branch out (IELTS again, CPE) and explore some new textbooks, different games and try and 'test' my students in more effective ways. The majority of my students will be taking exams (B2-C2) this year and I want to ensure that I can help them to be as prepared as possible.
From C1 exams to C2 authentic materials
I have taught numerous C1 students before but they have all had areas to improve on, whether it’s speaking confidence, perfect tenses or articles. But in all honesty, this lovely lad makes very few errors.
Google Jamboard
I have created a board to help my students revise some (just some!) of their new vocabulary from this week. If you have a moment, why not check it out?
Back to the classroom
Through the webcam you can't always see that frown of confusion or those 'lightbulb' moments, and that's something I miss.
A Round Up: July 2020
I'd also love to hear from any other teachers who work from home or teach as a freelancer and work odd hours. I'd really like to know how you spend your day and manage your classes.
