Google Jamboard

I have created a board to help my students revise some (just some!) of their new vocabulary from this week. If you have a moment, why not check it out?

A Round Up: July 2020

I'd also love to hear from any other teachers who work from home or teach as a freelancer and work odd hours. I'd really like to know how you spend your day and manage your classes.

A Round Up: June 2020

I have been reading a lot of CPD books. Mostly by J. Scrivener (he's an absolute genius), but some other English language gurus too. I have connected with even more ESL teachers online to share ideas and lesson plans, and I've really enjoyed watching some demo / CELTA lessons as well.

Supporting students outside of the classroom

One reason I think that some of my students keep in touch with me is because I have supported them throughout their time in my class, but also once they have moved on. If they've joined other classes or they've returned home, gone to university or any other path that life has taken them!
