When COVID sent us into lockdown I ended up working 12-16 hours a day and Chinese just got brushed aside. However, now and then I still spent an hour or so practising some new words and phrases. I've picked up some Arabic and Spanish...
However, it did give me the chance to read, focus on my Chinese and do a few extra things like arts and crafts and I've been writing a lot more often as well - which has been super!
So, two of my lovely students decided to join forces and have a lesson together. They’re friends, but have separate lessons throughout the week as they have slightly different goals.
I’m thinking that as we’re going to be four people in a cosy home, less is definitely the way forward as there just won’t be space to leave things lying around all over the place, or even put away.
